There are a ton of other uses for coconut oil, I buy mine at target for $7 per jar (14 FL OZ). I also add the oil to my tea to help boost my immune system and relieve sore throat. The oil is solid at room temperature, it's a similar constancy to butter but it smells amazing and doesn't have much of a taste. I highly recommend trying coconut oil for a few weeks, I promise you'll love it!
It is in point of fact a great and useful piece of information.

You can also use it in cooking as a replacement for butter or other oil. I use virgin coconut oil as I feel there are greater benefits than in refined coconut oil. However, the KTC coconut oil is useful if on a budget. Let's face it, virgin raw cooconut oil is not cheap!
ReplyDeleteI'd never thought of using it as make-up remover, but then I am a bloke....
I don't use it for cooking because I live in the Dorms at school and I don't have a kitchen. But I know there are about 2000 other uses for it in cooking (:
